Pablojoe Kayak Fishing is owned and operated by Paul Joseph Quirk.

Paul is a Licensed Fishing Guide with the California Department of Fish and Game, license #704119-01, and has been fishing fresh and saltwater for over 40 years.   He excels at instruction for the beginner and provides a learning environment that is safe, relaxed, patient, and fun with no pressure a lots of personal attention. 

Paul resides in Long Beach California where he has lived and worked most of his life.  After serving two years in the U.S. Army Tank Corps, he attended Long Beach City College & California State University at Long Beach, graduated with a BA Degree in Industrial Education and went back to graduate school earning a Clear Teaching Credential. Paul has been a licensed electrical contactor, licensed pilot, and received several licenses from the FCC.   He worked in public education for 26 years and retired from Long Beach City College in 2004 where he spent the last 15 years in administration.

Paul stresses safety first!  He has completed the Basic Boating Safety Certification Course and is Certified by the Red Cross in First Aid, Adult, Infant, and Child CPR.
